The main bathing dates for Maha Kumbh 2025 are Paush Purnima Snan (13 th January), Makar Sankranti (14 th January), Mauni Amavasya (29 th January), Basant Panchami (3 rd February), Maghi Purnima (12 th February) and Maha Shivratri (26 th February).

January, the coldest month of the year, is generally a very mild month. Expect remarkable differences between night and day. On the coldest nights of the month, the temperature usually drops to around 5 °C (41 °F). Fog is usual phenomenon during night and early morning. Its very common to experience rain during this month.

February is generally a warm month. However, there are remarkable differences between night and day. The average temperature is of 20.5 °C (69 °F), with a minimum of 13.1 °C (55.5 °F) and a maximum of 27.8 °C (82.1 °F).
